A music video involving Eminem, Rihanna, Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan would probably be considered fiery any day of the week. But this new clip for “Love the Way You Lie” also addresses a very hot topic.
Although Rihanna’s history with ex Chris Brown is still fresh on many our minds, she, of course, isn’t the only musician to experience a turbulent relationship. This video is reportedly inspired by Emimem’s own relationship with his Kim Mathers, the woman he married and divorced twice.

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Gossip, Hip-Hop & Rap,
“I don’t listen to no music. All I listen to all day, if I am listening to anything, is sports. And that ain’t because of nothing, just the simple fact that I’ve never listened to anyone else’s music but my own, and since I’m not able to do that up in here, I don’t listen to anything. I don’t listen to nothing but my thoughts.”

Aerosmith Rift: Joe Perry and Steven Tyler at Odds
Posted by K.C. Morgan Categories: Artist News, Gossip, Rumors, Rock,
“I mean, after working with me for 40 years, he couldn’t tell me about this?” These were Joe Perry’s words to the Boston Herald.
Perry, Aerosmith’s longtime and legendary guitarist, was discussing frontman Steven Tyler’s possible appointment to the American Idol judging panel.
Joe confronted Steven on Saturday - before the band took the stage at the MGM Grand to perform - but Tyler wouldn’t offer any information, saying he could not discuss it. “Why so secretive? We’re told it’s a done deal. If Steven is committed to a TV show, that kind of affects the rest of us. We’d like to plan our lives, ya know?”
Perry’s complaint is pretty valid, but it seems the Idol gag order can’t be broken.

It’s not every day that writers, even highly popular writers, get a personal message from a Knight. But that’s exactly what happened when Sir Paul McCartney surprised Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy with a mixed tape recently. Murphy dished on the details at a recent press conference for the show.
“It just sort of came out of the blue,” he said of the tape, which was accompanied by a personal note. “It said ‘Hi Ryan. I’d hope you’d considered these songs for Glee.”
The two-disc mix is full of tracks, some of which will make a definite appearance on the series. Murphy said of the correspondence, “I was gobsmacked. Of course we’re going to do something.”

Posted by Veronica Santiago Categories: Concerts / Tours, Videos, Rock,
The next time bird poop lands on your newly washed windshield, remember this: At least it didn’t fall into your mouth.
That disgusting scenario is exactly what happened to Jared Followill, Kings of Leon‘s bassist, on Friday night.
During a concert at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis, MO, the band fell victim to a group of pigeons that had taken up residence in the rafters. The birds, which had made a mess of the stage prior to their act, forced the “Sex on Fire” performers to quit only after several songs.

An entire garden dedicated to Michael Jackson will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at the National Museum of Dance. The permanent garden display will be completed in August.
The garden was inspired by a Michael Jackson fan group, which called the museum to inform curators that a very large floral shipment would arrive on the day Jackson is inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Using the gift as their inspiration, museum officials and a local florist have decided to create a permanent floral display in honor of the King of Pop. The fan club will pick up the tab for the project.
